Classic Plus: the current account that pays 4.00% AER*

We can offer current account customers an interest rate of 4.00% AER* on the first £5,000 of balances when they:

agree to pay in a minimum of £2,000 a month (if you agree to pay in a minimum of £1,000 a month you will still earn 3.75% AER* / 3.69% Gross*) log on to Internet banking at least 3 times every 3 months


Balances above £5,000 will receive our standard interest rate of 0.10% AER / Gross*.

If you already have a Lloyds TSB current account, you can request an upgrade to our Plus account within Internet banking.

If you intend to pay in less than £1000 a month, you can still take advantage of the Lloyds TSB Classic account.

If your main source of income is Government benefits (this can include up to £100 per month of income from another source - this must be non-benefit income), please contact any Lloyds TSB branch to discuss a current account that will be suitable for you.
